Last year I had a two-week holiday. I had no plan to go anywhere as my parents were busy. When I browsed the Internet, there appeared an advertisement about a portable sewing machine. I was interested in purchasing it, to stitch my worn dresses.

   I found my money was enough to buy the portable machine, so I brought it online. The product arrived three days later. At first, I was confused about how to use it. I had never sewn using such a machine before. I read the manual carefully and tried to stitch my worn clothes. I was happy that I could finally operate it. I continued stitching worn clothes, pillowcase, even curtains.

   Several days later, I had an idea to make a simple dress. It would be more difficult and take longer time, but I would try. I immitated a simple pattern on the Internet, applied it on the fabric, then saw it. The stitches were not tidy, but I kept on sewing. The most difficult part was when I had to stitch the armpits. I kept on practising. Finally, I could make my own dress.
